E. Manansala - born and raised in San Diego. Teacher/Educator by trade, but an artist at heart. Since the early years, E has been dabbling in art, anything from designing flyers for house parties to playing with the fine art of the street. It was not until recently that he decided to tap into the genre of art to be viewed by the public, to be displayed in bars and galleries in San Diego. Once he was introduced to the art community that is thriving in San Diego, he became hooked onto the lifestyle. His early work is a hybrid of fine brush strokes with a hand drawn stencil method. He used this method vigorously while live painting at venues in Downtown SD and other places such as Pacific Beach, Hillcrest, and North Park. His style evolved by him incorporating his strength in patterns and mixed it into his stencil method. The union of the two emerged a whole new beast, writing. E is currently working on a Sci-fi/fantasy novel which should be out this coming year. Look for new pieces and writings that will intrigue your mind and eyes within the coming 2011 year.
